What's the difference between NeRFs and Gaussian Splats?
NeRFs deliver higher visual fidelity with photorealistic lighting and intricate geometry, but render more slowly. Gaussian Splats trade a bit of fidelity for real-time, high-FPS movement through the model. The flagship package includes both — pick the one (or both) that fits the use case.
How long does a flagship capture take?
On-site capture for most sites runs one to three days depending on size and complexity. The boundary survey and registered point cloud are typically delivered within one to two weeks, with stamped drawings, the 360 viewer build, and NeRF / Gaussian Splat deliverables following over the next two to four weeks.
How accurate is the captured data?
Our terrestrial scanners are NIST-certified and capture at millimeter-class range accuracy. Registered point clouds typically hold to better than half a centimeter across an entire site, and everything is tied to state plane coordinates through Licensed Professional Land Surveyor-grade boundary control.
